The Default Production Cell from the Product Structure will be displayed in the “Production Cell” field for each new Production Order. It can be optionally changed here (if necessary) excluding cases when Order has "Cancelled" or "Closed" Status. Why the correct Production Cell is so important for the Production Order? It is important, because allows defining the proper Production Cell (together with related Inventory Addresses) where the Components (Inventory Parts) can be RESERVED and ISSUED for the Production Order if such Components have Issue Part Method = "From Production".
The Default Inventory Address from the Inventory Part will be displayed as a Final Address for each new Production Order. It also can be optionally changed if necessary. The Final Address allows defining the proper Inventory Address to where the manufactured Product can be RECEIVED from the Production Order, and it will be proposed as default Inventory Address in the "Production Order Reporting" form (where it also can be changed).
