User Manuals › Production › How to change Resolution for On Hold Quantity for Production Order?

Any part of previously reported On Hold Quantity can be converted after additional Quality Control procedure to the Ready Quantity (that can be received into Inventory) or to the Scrap (that can be discarded or decomposed) using corresponding options from context menu.

• If the specific part of previously reported On Hold Quantity is converted to the Ready Quantity that can be received into Inventory, then this Ready Quantity will be received to predefined Inventory Address into Batch with Number specified for Production Order.  Don't forget, that the Components assigned for Operation was already issued when the On Hold Quantity was reported.  The Inventory Transactions with Type = “PRODREC” (Receipt for Production Order) will be saved for Ready Quantity of final Product.  The Production Order Work In Progress Moves (WIP Moves) Report will be updated with data about issued Components with Types "Components To WIP" and "Components Out From WIP (Ready)".  Also, the transaction with Type "Final To Inv" will be added into Production Order Work In Progress Moves (WIP Moves) Report for reported final Product.
• If the specific part of previously reported On Hold Quantity is converted to the Scrap Quantity that should be discarded, then the last Operation will be updated with reported Scrap Quantity automatically.  The Estimated Quantity for Production Order will be reduced in accordance with reported Scrap.  The Production Order Work In Progress Moves (WIP Moves) Report will be updated with data about issued Components for discarded Scrap with Types "Components To WIP" and "Components Out From WIP (Discard)".
• If the specific part of previously reported On Hold Quantity is converted to the Scrap Quantity that should be decomposed, then the last Operation will be updated with reported Scrap Quantity automatically.  The Estimated Quantity for Production Order will be reduced in accordance with reported Scrap.  After this, the already issued Components will be returned back to the original Batches in accordance with decomposed Scrap Quantity.  The corresponding Inventory Transactions with Type = “POSCRDEC” (Decompose Scrap for Production Order) will be saved in the Inventory Transactions History for each returned Component.  The Production Order Work In Progress Moves (WIP Moves) Report will be updated with data about issued and returned Components for decomposed Scrap with Types "Components To WIP" and "Components Back To Inventory (Decompose)".
