The really handled Quantity, that was produced by Production Order and CANNOT be received into Inventory, can be reported as a Scrap with different Scrap Reasons and different Reactions using "Production Order Reporting" form. The reported Scrap Quantity cannot be greater than Quantity successfully handled at previous Operations taking into account the already Reported Quantity for this Production Order (including Ready Quantity, Scrap and On Hold Quantities). The last Operation will be updated with reported Scrap Quantity. The Estimated Quantity for Production Order will be reduced in accordance with reported Scrap.
Some really handled Quantity can be reported as an On Hold Quantity that was produced at this Production Order, but that cannot be received immediately into Inventory, because addition Quality Control is required to check: is it Scrap or not. The reported On Hold Quantity cannot be greater than Quantity successfully handled at previous Operations taking into account the already Reported Quantity for this Production Order (including Ready Quantity, Scrap and On Hold Quantities). The last Operation will be updated with reported On Hold Quantity. If this Quantity is not a Scrap, then afterward it will be received into Inventory. Otherwise, it will be converted later to Scrap with corresponding Reaction. The required Components will be issued automatically in accordance with reported On Hold Quantity (so, such Components should be preliminary reserved). The corresponding Inventory Transactions with Type = “PRODISS” (Issue for Production Order) will be saved in the Inventory Transactions History for each issued Component. The Production Order Work In Progress Moves (WIP Moves) Report will be updated with data about issued Components with Types "Components To WIP".
