When the Validity Period for the approved Product Structure became expired, this Product Structure will not be used to create new Production Orders automatically.  But, if the Validity Period is not specified explicitly, then the usage of obsolete Product Structure can create a problem.  If some troubles will be found in the Product Structure, then something should be done to prevent the following usage of such invalid Product Structure and avoid the problems.  In both cases, it is recommended to discontinue usage of obsolete or invalid Version of Product Structure.  The obsolete or invalid Product Structure can be discontinued directly from "Product Structure" details form or from the list of existing Product Structures.  In the last case, more than one Product Structure can be discontinued at the same time.
