Imagine please, You have a Production Order to produce some specific Product.  You spend some working time, have issued the specially purchased and reserved Components, wasted other resources...  And as result, You have produced something else INSTEAD of expected Product (e.g. another color than required, the wrong size, another quality or just second-rate).  Do You have now the possibility to receive produced Goods into Inventory instead of expected Product for the sales or for the following usage in production?  The answer is very easy - just go to review the Alternative Products List.  If You have not suitable Alternatives, just add their for the proper Product Structures to make your life easy in future.
