User Manuals › Production › Product Structure › Which exactly Status will be assigned to the new Product Structure?

The default Status for the new Product Structure depends from corresponding system parameter.  If system parameter “Create Product Structures” = “In state Draft”, then the “Draft” Status will be assigned automatically for each new created Product Structure (including imported Product Structures and duplicates of existing Product Structures).

If system parameter “Create Product Structures” = “In state Approved”, then the “Approved” Status will be assigned automatically for each new created Product Structure.  If the new Product Structure cannot be saved with "Approved" Status due to some problem with its details (e.g. overlapping by dates with other approved Versions for the same Modification), then User will be notified about error.
